Watercolor

Several years ago, a friend insisted I attend a Terry Madden weekend watercolor course. This is the result.

I had never before, and I have not since, picked up a brush. I have since received beautiful brushes as gifts, so I will be well equipped if I ever try watercolor again.

You will note that the third flower, lower left, is not finished. Terry told me to stop where I was and not touch the work again. He probably knew, from long experience, I would mess up if I continued.

When I can no longer travel, I may take up watercolor. Right now, I am more interested in photography.

Incurably juvenile, I matted and framed blotches of color on a practice sheet.
More than one appreciator of modern art has commented favorably on the piece.

This piece elicits yawns.

I'll post the more appreciated blotch piece here one day.
